Caring Hearts. Helping Hands.
Changing Lives.
Welcome to Junior Auxiliary of Byram-Terry
We are a non-profit volunteer service organization that serves the needs of children, youth, and families in our service area. Working closely with our local schools and other organizations, we seek to promote the lives of children by creating programs to meet emotional, physical, medical, financial, and educational needs through community service projects.
The Junior Auxiliary of Byram-Terry serves Byram, Terry, and Raymond of Hinds County.

C.A.R.E.S Bag Service Project
We are reaching out to our community in support of our annual C.A.R.E.S. Bag Service Project to assist Hinds County McKinney-Vento students. C.A.R.E.S. stands for Compassionate, Attentive, Resourceful, Empowering, and Supportive. These students face significant challenges, including housing instability and economic hardship. Our goal is to prepare at least 50 bags by providing essential items that will bring comfort, dignity, and joy. With your generous support, we can help ensure these students experience the warmth and care of their community despite their circumstances.
By supporting the C.A.R.E.S. Bag Service Project, you are making a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of children in the Byram-Terry community who need it most. Your generosity not only provides essential items but also sends a powerful message that their community truly cares about their well-being.
We kindly ask for your support in one or more of the following ways:
-
Financial contributions will allow us to purchase gift cards and essential items tailored to the specific needs of each student.
-
Donations of child- and teen-appropriate hygiene products such as deodorant, soap, body wash, lotion, wipes, and feminine hygiene products.
-
Stress balls and informational pamphlets highlighting available mental health resources for children and teens.
-
Pens, pencils, and small notebooks.
We would be happy to arrange pickup of any donated items. If you have questions or would like additional information, please feel free to contact me via email at jabtprojectscom@gmail.com. Thank you for your time, consideration, and continued support. Together, we can help make a meaningful difference in the lives of these deserving students.
